Pizza Line Cook

We are looking for a part-time Cook. Ideally, we need someone available 30-35 hours/week, Wednesday - Sunday.
Hours will fluctuate based on season.

Duties include:

  • Making fresh pizza dough, rolling and weighing dough balls to a precise weight.
  • Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications. 
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety regulations. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking utensils and equipment. 
  • Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed. 
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of food. 
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager and Lead Beertenders to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. 
  • Washing dishes and properly closing the kitchen at the end of shift.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen environment. 
  • Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food handling practices.
  • Food Handler's Permits required

Desired Skills:

  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. 
  • Experience in the food industry, particularly in a kitchen environment. 
  • Proficient in food handling and preparation techniques. 
  • Knowledge of culinary arts with an emphasis on pizza making. 
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards. 
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. 
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
